On behalf of the Steering Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to attend the 2020 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (ISAP2020) to be held at Knowledge Capital Congres Convention Center in Osaka, Japan. According to the present status of COVID-19 over the world, the ISAP2020 Steering Committee has decided to postpone the ISAP2020 from October 26-30, 2020 to January 25-28, 2021.
This Symposium, the 25th ISAP, returned back to Japan after the ISAP2016 at Okinawa. ISAP2020 is sponsored and organized by the Communications Society of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communications Engineers (IEICE), and will be held in cooperation with the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA), the Antennas and Propagation Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE/AP-S), the Antennas Society of the Chinese Institute of Electronics (AS-CIE), the Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Communications, Information Technology Association of Thailand (ECTI), the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), the Institute of Antenna Engineers of Taiwan, the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science (KIEES), and the Taiwan Microwave Association.
The ISAP series held in Asia-Pacific region are absolutely one of major international conferences in the fields of Antennas and Propagation in the world. The main objective of ISAP2020 is to provide an international forum for the exchange of information on the progress of research and development in antennas, propagation, electromagnetic wave theory, and related fields. It is also an important objective of this meeting to promote mutual interaction among participants.
Osaka is located on the main island of Honshu, roughly in the center of Japan. Once known as the Nation's Kitchen, Osaka still holds the title of Food Capital of Japan. Osaka provides a lot of shopping sites with an irresistible experience. The historical capital city of Kyoto, and Nara, an ancient city with numerous World Heritage sites, are all accessible in less than 40 minutes from Osaka.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all the participants, financial sponsors, exhibitors, supporting organizations and all the committee members who will make ISAP2020 successful.
